It's A Sick World We Live In. (Reserved/Mature)

Aiden blinked in surprise, his words caught him by shock. He slowly nodded, leaning forward and kissing his forehead. "I want you to go to the safest room and lock the door...ill be back soon Charlie...I won't leave you..lock the door behind me." He stood and with a sigh, opened the door outward and hitting the dead aside. He shut the door tightly and stabbed one close to him before cutting his own arm open. The blood attracted them and he began to sprint down the road, making noise to attract them away from the house.

Charlie looked at him, his eyes filled with fear and worry, before he could say anything, charlie whispered "make sure to come back to me" he touch his hand.

Aiden's eyes opened and he slowly sat up, Charlie in his arms. "...shit...okay Charlie just...just stay quiet..." He stood slowly, grabbing a large knife from the kitchen. He came back and knelt infront of Charlie, cupping his face. "Hey...look at me." He spoke softly.

They got just maybe ten minutes of sleep, before something was pounding on their door and the walls around it. Charlie woke scared and suddenly clinged to Aiden.

Aiden chuckled softly and played with his hair. He absentmindedly wrapped his arms around the smaller male and held him close as they snoozed, closing his eyes and drifting with him.

Charlie hummed softly finally resting, even falling asleep. In his sleep he pressed to him, wanting that feeling of warmth and safety, and lucky for his new body pillow, Charlie had some kind of med in his back pocket.

He chuckled, erasing any suggestive thoughts from his mind. "Well, I kinda like you, shortie. I can't just let you rot..." He ruffled his hair again, this time leaving his hand there

"I am not too useful in fighting or anything like it, but i can be useful in others ways probably, i may be small but my body is still something of use." he closed his eyes as he spoke, he felt safe being so close to him.

He looked down at the smaller male, a faint blush tinting his cheeks. He chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh, you don't have to worry about me." They were fairly close at this point.

He blushed more as his hair was ruffled, but he took this as a  chance to move closer to him. "Okay, and i will do anything to help you." he hid his smile.

He nodded slowly, ruffling his hair and pulling his hand back slowly. "Certainly. There's no point in letting anything hurt you. I'd feel bad...so...you can trust me. You're safe."

He looked at him, then blushed softly. oh geez just when I thought these thoughts could fade, he goes and says that!? gosh its so sweet. "Thanks, it helps some hearing that" he smiled to him wondering if he could move closer to him.

He stared down at him. He could see how worried he was. He rolled onto his side, facing him. "Hey. Listen." He touched his head. "I won't let anything happen to us. To you."

Charlie nodded and did so getting comfy, wondering if they truly could be safe anymore. He gave out a tiny sigh and closed his eyes to relax.

He eyed him, nodding slowly. He sat down next to him, stretching his arms. "I'm sure we'll be fine. " he laid down, his legs almost not fitting on the couch. "...lay down, Charlie."

When he came back Charlie smiled to him happily, "thank you". He made sure there was room for him to sit, "maybe we could just rest together? Here, so both of us could react to what might come" he looked at him with his cute eyes.

He chewed on his lip thoughtfully. He couldn't help glancing at Charlie occasionally. He didn't know himself if his own flirtatiousness was just playful, or if he actually found himself...really liking him. He poured the other a glass of water and brought it back to him.

"S-sure" he flushed, Why am I acting like this? Especially at a time like this? With a guy?! He turned s even darker shade of pink as his thoughts filled his mind. He shook his head and took a breath I just need to quit reading adventure romances is all! He nodded to himself.

Aiden looked him over, they were fairly close. "Ill be fine." He ruffled his hair. "You...on the other hand...should lie down." He looked at his hair. It was very soft. He ran his fingers through it and stood. "Want some water?" He brushed past him softly as he walked to the kitchen.

He blushed at both the comment and him moving closer. "B-But wouldn't extra sleep be nice?" he blushed more having a thought run across his mind

"Charlie, I've been living on five hours of sleep for years. I'm okay. You look like hell....slightly cuter than hell, but you don't look well. You're shaking." He scooted a little closer.

Charlie watched him the whole time, "but shouldn't you sleep more?" he sounded concerned "I mean sleep is a vital part of being healthy and being able to preform your best."

He rubbed his neck, walking over to him. "I guess." He shrugged. "Look, there's still a few hours left." He sat on the couch, stretching his arms above his head. "You should sleep more."

Charlie looked to him then blushed as his eyes widened some, "oh, your up? D-Did you sleep well?" he looked over him unconsciously as he uncurled but still shook some.

Aiden woke up at some point, grumbling. Half asleep, he wandered out into the front room. He had taken his shirt off, revealing muscles and scars. "...Nn?" he yawned, looking at Charlie.
