So I had this idea while watching Gonzo's(anime company) rendition of Romeo and Juliet. In the anime the Montagues basically overthrew the Capulets, practically killed off the entirety of the royal family, and murdered their servants(and their families). Although I despised reading Shakespeare, he had some pretty good ideas and the anime inspired me to try putting a twist on the story too. ^^
The rp takes place in a similar kingdom where there are 2 warring families. Naturally, Romeo and Juliet are drawn to each other in spite of the bloodshed between their families. The twist is, rather than humans falling in love, I thought that Romeo and Juliet could belong to warring demon tribes. Maybe Romeo could be the crown prince of a Wolf/Dog tribe, and Juliet could be the crown princess of a Neko tribe, or vice versa.
Or instead of just demons, perhaps the families can be Angels vs Fallen Angels, or Angels vs Demons. I'm open to ideas. I can also play either Romeo or Juliet. If you're interested post here
